they are making it easy for me
i work as a permanent temp for a company in midtown. i’ve been here almost a year, which i had no intention of doing. i decided last week that i was going to quit at the end of august, no matter what. i wasn’t sure how to go about telling them i’m quitting. but as it turns out, starting now, they want to move me to the payroll! this is a great chance to get away easily, i don’t have to tell them that i’m leaving because their chain of command is non-existent, there is no communication, and everyone in the company is plotting against each other in some way. but it seems like they are still willing to let me stay on until the end of august, which would be exactly perfect. except for sucking away my vitality, this job as always figured into my life exactly the way i need it to. lucky me.
